Rally of the Lakes – Ceremonial Start & Temporary Traffic Arrangements

A ceremonial start for the Rally of the Lakes will take place in Killarney Town Centre on Friday, 1 May 2026 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

During this time, rally cars competing in this year’s event will pass through the town centre start ramp before heading to the opening stages. This is a popular part of the rally weekend and gives spectators and visitors the chance to see the crews and cars up close.

Temporary traffic restrictions and limited access may apply in parts of the town centre during these hours. Organisers are working with local authorities and An Garda Síochána to minimise disruption.
